Why is Hillsdale College’s independence so important?
Hillsdale was the first American college to prohibit by charter admissions discrimination based on race, 性, 或宗教. Standing on principle continues to define us.
By refusing even one penny of federal or state aid for grants, 奖, 贷款, 或奖学金, we free ourselves from educational regulation and programs imposed by the government.
